Emerald’s instructions refer to the product nameplate or rating plate on the heat-pump casing and require safety labels and markings to remain legible. Capture the full model and serial number because an All-In-One Pro, All-In-One Select, Split System, and Split System Pro can all carry the Emerald name while using distinct evidence. Some Select controller material also exposes a serial-number query function, but that does not replace the casing label. Retain endings such as E, -1, and -2; the manuals explicitly name many suffix variants, and the exact string determines whether a mapping is direct or supported through documented family commonality.

The All-In-One Pro and All-In-One Select use their own integrated display documentation. The standard Split System and HPRX300E-1 Split System Pro instead have separately documented wired controllers. These interfaces show operating temperatures, modes and status symbols as well as fault or protection codes, and the Pro publications contain much longer diagnostic lists than the Select material. Photograph the full screen and note the product family printed on the unit. A bare code such as an E- or P-series value is insufficient because identical-looking characters can sit in different Emerald controller namespaces.

Emerald code tables are family-bound

The captured fault material appears on pages 26–27 for All-In-One Pro, page 22 for All-In-One Select, page 46 for the standard Split System, and page 23 for Split System Pro. The source review excludes reserved driver values, an EEPROM refresh completion, and entries expressly described as not errors. That editorial boundary matters because a controller can display status information that should not be converted into a fault page. Choose the manual from the plate identity first, then preserve punctuation and leading characters exactly as shown when checking a published meaning.

Select commonality does not erase the Pro and Split boundaries

Emerald’s evidence maps numerous EE-HWS-A1 variants to the All-In-One Pro publication, HPA1-S models to All-In-One Select, HPR200/HPR300 variants to the standard Split source, and HPRX300E-1 to Split System Pro. An official Select data sheet also documents common app control across S220, S270 and S320 pairs, supporting two compatible S320 mappings that are not merely string guesses. That narrow commonality should not be stretched into another series. Four product labels may look related in a catalogue, but the captured code sets and controller manuals remain independently versioned.

Begin with the installer, then use Emerald support

Emerald’s current warranty page tells heat-pump owners to contact the installation company first; Emerald support becomes the next route when the installer cannot resolve a warranty issue. The official contact page accepts technical faults, repairs, warranty and product-help enquiries and asks for fields including product, serial number, error code, install date and installer. Assemble those items before opening a ticket. The site also publishes a phone route and support centre, but a displayed code does not alone establish a manufacturing defect. Submit the evidence and allow the installer or Emerald to classify the claim under the applicable terms.

Emerald publishes depth, but only within named families

Four captured official publications make Emerald one of the deeper public records in this dataset: model scope, controller operation, fault tables and support material are available across All-In-One and Split generations. Even so, the evidence does not license a single all-Emerald dictionary, invented explanations for reserved values, or assumptions about unlisted suffixes and future firmware. Public pages retain the manual attribution for each code and the evidence type for compatible models. When no official document maps a registry model, the site says so and routes the owner to the guide and support rather than filling the gap with generic prose.
