Haier heat pump fault-code guide

Haier’s Australian split and monoblock water heaters use separately documented control panels and code tables, with model identification preceding any interpretation.

Evidence reviewed . 6 of 16 registered Haier models currently have an evidence-backed code mapping.

Use the label and decide split versus monoblock

Copy the full Haier model and serial information before looking up a code. Haier’s Australian contact page says serial-number location varies by product and directs owners to the relevant user manual or Customer Care when assistance is needed. The captured split manual names HP300S2-F7. The monoblock publication names HP200M1-U1, HP250M1-U1, their U1P forms, and HP330M1U1. Those strings are the safe discriminator: a cabinet size or Haier logo cannot establish which controller is installed. Photograph the label without removing a service panel, and include both tank and heat-pump labels if the installation has separate components.

Two Haier control-panel arrangements

The split-system source documents a temperature controller connected to the tank and heat-pump components, with operating modes, temperature and hot-water-volume indications on its display. The monoblock manual describes its own active control panel, lock icon, scheduling labels and actual-water-temperature screen. Although the interface vocabulary overlaps, the publications are separately scoped and the panels are wired into different product arrangements. Record the screen while it is active, including mode icons and the precise code. Avoid entering installer or service menus just to gather evidence; the ordinary display and plate are enough for an initial support request.

Split codes and monoblock codes are captured separately

Haier’s HP300S2-F7 fault and protection rows are printed on PDF pages 38 and 39. The monoblock V1125 publication places its longer table on pages 46 and 47. Both include visible letter-number indications, but the meanings must remain attached to the correct manual and model scope. Some rows describe communication between the main control and display panels, illustrating why a code alone cannot identify the product. Preserve hyphens and character order, then select the split or monoblock result from the plate. A licensed technician determines the physical cause behind the documented indication.

The public mapping stops at the named Haier models

HP300S2-F7 is the only split model named by its captured source. The monoblock manual explicitly scopes six identifiers across 200, 250 and 330 forms, including power-cord and fixed-wiring variants. The source review does not extend either table to similarly named Haier registry entries because no manufacturer statement establishes controller reuse for them. Split versus monoblock is therefore a documentary boundary, not simply a descriptive category. If the plate differs by even a suffix, use Haier’s product manual route to locate the matching publication rather than substituting the nearest model listed on this site.

Haier’s Australian help and warranty path

Haier Australia’s contact page provides its Customer Care Centre for product problems and help locating serial information. Its warranty page separately publishes the heat-pump water-heater manufacturer’s warranty and links the full conditions. The current page describes domestic coverage, but an owner should use the exact terms for the purchase and installation rather than relying on a summary. Have the model, serial number, installer and purchase evidence, installation date, code photograph and symptom description ready. Ask Customer Care to confirm the authorised service route before arranging internal or refrigeration work.

Haier’s sources cover two families, not the whole register

The public evidence captured for Haier is substantive: two Australian operation and installation manuals identify their model scope, describe their control panels, and publish literal fault tables. The live Haier pages provide contact and warranty destinations. What is absent is equally important—there is no captured controller-commonality statement for the remaining Haier registry models, no public basis for importing codes from other Haier appliance categories, and no licence to turn service procedures into homeowner instructions. Pages are therefore limited to exact covered models, while unsupported units retain a transparent research status and an official help route.
