Quantum’s captured 2008 owner manual names four Compact models on its cover: 150-08ACW-134, 270-11AC3-134, 340-11AC3-134 and 340-17ACW-134. Copy the entire plate value, including the wattage and refrigerant suffix, before using this guide. Later registry entries reuse capacities such as 200, 270 and 340 but do not automatically share this controller. A clear photograph of the model, serial and manufacture details will also help current support identify an out-of-warranty appliance whose cabinet labels may be weathered.

The QDC0030PD-11 is the compatibility boundary
The manual identifies document and controller family QDC0030PD-11 and describes several parameter levels on the digital controller. Those setup values sit close to the fault section, so entries such as t10, H95 or F02 are configuration values rather than current faults. Preserve the display exactly and avoid treating every letter-number pair in the manual as an alarm. The verified fault namespace here is limited to the seven E-series rows under the explicit Error Codes heading, with controller service work left to qualified personnel.

Seven legacy E codes are publicly documented
PDF page 26 publishes E01, E02, E03, E04, E05, E06 and E08. The first three and E08 identify open or shorted sensor circuits, while E04 through E06 concern compressor overload or overheat protection. The same table distinguishes automatic and manual reset behaviour, but it does not turn internal electrical or refrigeration work into an owner procedure. Record whether the indication returns and contact support. This catalogue keeps the literal table wording and dual-pass anchors instead of adding an undocumented E07 or borrowing codes from a newer Quantum generation.

Capacity alone does not identify a controller
Quantum’s register history contains Compact, Titan, R134a, R290 and differently numbered AC or AS variants. The QDC0030PD-11 cover is decisive because it names only four exact registry strings plus one Titan variant that is not in the current dataset. No table was propagated to the many remaining Quantum records, even when a tank capacity matches. That conservative boundary matters most for older brands: replacement controllers, split configurations and refrigerant generations can change what a display value means while leaving a familiar brand name on the tank.

Use the current Quantum request route with legacy records
Quantum Energy’s current after-sales page provides separate technical-support, service-request and warranty-request paths and asks owners to retain purchase and installation invoices for warranty work. For a 2008-era unit, prepare the plate photograph, the displayed code, installation address and any service history before making contact. The current public page does not state a duration for these legacy models, so this guide does not promise coverage. A support assessment can still establish parts availability, safe next steps and whether an old controller has been replaced during the appliance’s life.
