Source-led owner guide
Solahart heat pump fault-code guide
Confirm 270HAV on the plate, then use its integrated main display and model-specific Solahart owner guide.
Evidence reviewed . 1 of 15 registered Solahart models currently have an evidence-backed code mapping.
The captured guide is for 270HAV only
The official cover names the air-sourced heat-pump water heater model 270HAV. Record that exact value, the serial and the installation date before using the fault list, because Solahart’s register history also includes 180, 280, 310 and 325 families with different suffixes. The current product page still exposes the 270HAV publication, but a retail family name or tank size is not a substitute for the plate. If 270HAV is absent, stop at identification and request the correct owner guide through Solahart.

Status, temperature and faults share the panel
The 270HAV display panel reports operating status, water temperature, usable hot-water quantity, timer settings, time and fault codes. Its removable magnetic cover must be returned after viewing so the face remains protected. A locked panel automatically unlocks when a fault arises and returns to its earlier state after service, which can explain an unexpected keypad change. Photograph the main display before navigating additional values. Controller access is for observation and the documented owner functions; removing appliance panels or servicing the refrigeration system remains qualified work.

The guide publishes values, not nine component diagnoses
PDF page 27 lists P01 through P07 plus E01 and E08. It explains how additional active values can be viewed with the arrow keys and gives one limited reset attempt for E01. Except after P02, manual electric heating may provide interim hot water until service. The publication does not assign a separate component meaning to most values, so this catalogue says exactly that rather than importing a richer table from Rheem or another Solahart generation. E09 is excluded because the manual identifies it as normal freeze-protection heating.

Solahart history contains several unrelated families
Registry entries under Solahart include HAV, HDC, HER, QDR, JE and SKE or SHE model patterns across multiple capacities. Only 270HAV is named by the captured Revision 02 guide. Even if another model has a visually similar panel, no mapping is created without an official scope statement. This prevents a service-required P code on one generation from being presented as a specific sensor failure documented elsewhere. Use the printed product number and manual revision as the boundary, especially if a display module has been changed during earlier service.

Solahart retains a national dealer route
The warranty pages identify Solahart Industries Pty Limited and a national dealer service network. For 270HAV in a single-family dwelling, the captured terms cover all components through year two, sealed-system components through year three, and cylinder supply through year seven with labour limits after year three. Conditions and later warranty versions matter, so collect the plate, installation and purchase records before seeking an assessment. Solahart’s current product page links warranty details and enquiries; a displayed code alone does not determine whether a repair qualifies.

Public evidence is precise about owner behaviour
The official guide documents model identity, panel operation, code values, the E01 reset boundary, temporary heating behaviour and warranty contacts. It does not disclose a component dictionary for each P and E value or authorise the table for every Solahart heat pump. This site therefore publishes useful but restrained meanings and retains the literal page anchors. The gap is visible rather than filled with dealer-only knowledge. Owners can still report the exact value and panel state to Solahart while technicians use service information appropriate to the serial and controller revision.
