Heat Pump Fault Finder AU

One model plate. One exact code. One postcode.

Put the useful details into one repair request

Start with the label on the tank or outdoor unit and the characters on the display. The warranty route comes first. An out-of-warranty request can then be checked for a licensed provider serving that postcode, but availability is not promised.

What to have ready

Photograph the label. Copy the display. Add the postcode.

The model and code stay optional because a label may be unsafe to reach or a display may be blank. When visible, the exact details prevent a request being attached to the wrong controller family.

  1. Model plate

Take one readable photo of the brand, full model number and serial label. Do not remove a cover to find it.

  2. Displayed code

Copy every letter, number and dash, or photograph the display. With no code, write down the physical symptom.

  3. Service postcode

Use the four-digit Australian postcode where the tank is installed. It is needed to check actual local coverage.

Start your request

Check warranty before requesting local help

Choose the brand, system age and warranty status first. If the unit is covered—or you are not sure—we will show the manufacturer route before collecting a local repair request.

Unit details

Model and displayed code are helpful but optional. You can still continue if you cannot safely locate them.

Copy letters, numbers and punctuation exactly as displayed, or briefly describe what changed.

Choose the brand, age and warranty status to see the right next step.

What happens next

First warranty. Then a consented local request.

  1. Step 1

    Your warranty route is checked

Covered or uncertain units go to recorded manufacturer support before a local lead is collected.

  2. Step 2

    The request is reviewed

For an out-of-warranty unit, the site operator checks the model, code, postcode and urgency you supplied.

  3. Step 3

    A suitable provider may respond

Your details are shared only with your explicit consent and only for this enquiry. Provider availability is not guaranteed.

This site does not diagnose faults, dispatch emergency services, or promise a repair appointment. For immediate danger call 000; otherwise use an appropriately licensed electrician, plumber or refrigeration mechanic for the work involved.
